GUNMETAL / CLARITY BEFORE WE START

Before we work together, you should know what to expect. Here you’ll find clear answers: What will your website cost? How will we work together? And what happens once it’s ready?

Choose the question on your mind. I explain what you receive, what it costs and what you can expect from me.

10 questions
CostsWhat does a website cost?

At GUNMETAL, websites start at €600. The final price depends on the number of pages, the design and the features your business needs.

Before I begin, I agree with you on what is included and what the full project costs. You know what you are paying for in advance.

CostsWhat does an Onlineshop cost?

At GUNMETAL, Onlineshops start at €1,000. The price depends on factors such as your product range, product variants and the features needed for orders, payment and shipping.

I agree with you on what your shop needs to do when it opens. Before I start, I explain the cost of my work separately from any ongoing costs of running your shop.

CostsDo I have to pay something every month?

I do not require a monthly subscription to look after your website. This does not mean running it is always free: your web address and the services that keep your website online may have monthly or annual costs.

Onlineshops may also have charges for the shop platform, extra features and payment processing. I explain the costs of your chosen setup in advance, including who you pay them to.

Day to dayCan I change the text and photos myself?

Yes. For an additional one-time fee of €200, I can set up an editing area for your website. It lets you change the text and photos agreed within the project without knowing how to code. I show you how to use it. If the service used for this has its own charges, I discuss them with you beforehand.

For an Onlineshop, access to product and order management is already included in my service. Any extra features are agreed separately.

Working togetherDo I have to pay before I see the website?

No. After our first conversation and your go-ahead, I build your complete homepage as a free preview. You see the proposed direction and then decide whether you want to continue working with me. This also applies to the homepage of a new Onlineshop.

If you decide to continue, I develop the agreed project. You pay for my work after you approve the finished website and I publish it. No deposit is needed. I discuss any costs from external providers with you beforehand.

Your websiteDoes the finished website belong to me?

Once the agreed payment is complete, you receive the code created for your project and its custom design. I agree with you beforehand on the access you receive and which services will be set up in your own accounts. You do not need a care subscription with me to keep using your website.

A shop platform or another external service remains a service provided by that company. Its terms and any charges continue to apply. I explain what you can manage yourself and how the handover works.

Working togetherWhat do you need from me?

First, I want to understand what you offer, who you want to reach and what matters to you. Your logo, suitable photos and information about your services are helpful. For an Onlineshop, I also need product details and information about payment and shipping.

You do not need to have everything ready for our first conversation. I explain which content and account access I need for your project. You provide the business details for the legal notice, privacy information and, where relevant, your shop’s terms.

Working togetherHow long will it take to finish my website?

That depends on the size of the project, the features you want and when the required content is ready. Your feedback on the design also affects the schedule.

After our first conversation, I agree a suitable schedule with you. You know when to expect the preview and what needs to happen before your website is ready.

AfterwardsWhat if something needs changing later?

You can contact me after your website is online. You can make small content changes yourself if the agreed editing area has been set up. We can discuss new pages, new features or further help whenever you need them.

If something stops working, I look into the cause with you. Before carrying out any additional paid work, I agree the scope and price with you. You do not need a monthly care subscription for this.
